     Kids Aboard interviewed some of the world class professional sailors in the Volvo Ocean Race and asked them how boating changed their lives.

Katie Pettibone has sailed around the world at least twice, once when she was 22 on the women's team on EF Education during the Whitbread Round the World Race, and then on Amer Sports Too during the Volvo Ocean Race in 2001

Chris Larson is an American sailor who helped bring his team's boat Assa Abloy to second place in the Volvo Ocean Race 2001-2002.

Lisa MacDonald is an American sailor who was the skipper aboard  the Volvo Ocean Race women's boat, Amer Sports Too.
