Five USA Junior Olympic Sailing Festivals Scheduled for June

Portsmouth, R.I. (May 21, 2003) – The month of June kicks off this summer’s
USA Junior Olympic Sailing Festival program with five events scheduled
across the country. The program, presented by West Marine, helps young
sailing enthusiasts develop their sailing skills while having fun on and off
the water. The following USA Junior Olympic Sailing events are scheduled for June: June 7-8 USA Junior Olympic Windsurfing Festival - Nevin Sayre Kids Camp, West Dennis Beach, MA June 14-15 USA Junior Olympic Sailing Festival – Michigan, Crescent Sail Yacht Club, Grosse Pointe, MI June 20-21 USA Junior Olympic Sailing Festival – Midwest, Carlyle Sailing Association, Carlyle Lake, IL June 21-22 USA Junior Olympic Sailing Festival – Upper Midwest, Wayzata Yacht Club, MN June 28-29 USA Junior Olympic Windsurfing Festival, Calema Windsurfing School, Merritt Island, FL The USA Junior Olympic Sailing Festival program is organized by US SAILING, national governing body for the sport of sailing and sailboat racing. This year, 20 Junior Olympic events will take place at yacht clubs and community sailing programs across the country.
